platinum MK vehicles

The new vehicles for platinum MK are Mercedes Benz buses.  They have hi-tech cleaner, greener engines that go further than the latest emission regulations. This means travelling on the bus is good for the environment.  With other features to make your journey more comfortable, the bus is now the best way of reaching the city centre.

Air-conditioning

All vehicles on platinum MK are fully air-conditioned.  They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  This feature ensures you reach your destination comfortable and ready for the rest of the day.

Easy Access

The vehicles have an easy access doorway.  This enables wheelchair users, people with walking difficulties and people travelling with small children and buggies the ability to get on the bus with ease.  There is sufficient space for one wheelchair or up to two buggies to travel on the bus at any time.

CCTV

The safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance.  Each vehicle is fitted with CCTV to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

Free Wi-fi access

For your convenience, each bus has free wifi access.  This enables you to access the internet during your journey.  Use the time to catch up on your emails, book tickets, check the weather or read the news.   Please note that this  is a public Wi-Fi service and therefore is not secure. Do not use it to send sensitive data to the Internet.
