Tutbury

Tutbury

Tutbury, celebrated for its ruined castle, was once the seat of the Mercian kings and afterwards the Earls and Dukes of Lancaster.  Tutbury was a market town in ancient times and is still a attractive place to visit, pleasantly seated on the south bank of the River Dove.

Visit Tutbury by catching an Arriva bus on route 1.
